FINAL GAMES REARRANGED

The remaining games for both teams have now been re-arranged.
The reserve team will now play Blackpool Mechanics at home on Thursday 8th May (7.45pm KO), whilst the first team will play Bootle away on Monday 12th May (7.45pm KO).

This website domain has now been purchased on behalf of Chadderton Football Club Limited in order to keep people up to date with information on the Club.

The committee, managers and players would like to thank the members and interested parties who attended the meeting at the Club on 22nd April. Please contact any committee member if you need to discuss further the proposed sale of the Club.
As soon as the Club have any news they are able to share, they will do.
MEETING TUESDAY 22ND APRIL.

Some of the members and fans of Chadderton Football Club have requested a meeting for all parties interested in the future of Chadderton FC to discuss ways of saving the Club. The meeting will be held on Tuesday 22nd April at 7pm in the bar area of the Club. Anyone interested in discussing how the club can be saved and putting forward useful proposals are invited to attend.
The current owners of the Club, Mr Halliwell and Mr Bhatti will also be invited to attend as they expressed their desire for a quick sale some 2 weeks ago, however, nothing further has been communicated.
MEMORIES OF FORMER MANAGER NEEDED

The daughter of former Chadderton manager Ian Forsyth has asked if any of his former colleagues and old friends would like to get in touch. Ian was manager in the 1980's and oversaw one of the Clubs most sucessful periods.
Ian and his family moved to Devon in 1986 but he retained his connections with the club. Ian has been unwell recently and his daughter hopes that reminiscences and anecdotes from the past may help improe his spirts.

CHADDERTON FOOTBALL CLUB FOR SALE

The current owners of Chadderton FC has decided to sell their interests in the Club for the sum of £1.00. However, any potential purchaser should be aware that this will include taking on the liabilities of the Club, which due to the secrecey of the owners, the committee do not know the extent of.
In the meantime the committee are continuing to run the Club as normal and are raising their own funds to pay any football related bills to keep football at Andrew Street. We will not let them destroy a 60 year old football club.
Any one with any serious offers of help should get in touch with any committee member as soon as possible.
MANAGER OF THE MONTH AWARD FOR PAUL

Paul Buckley has been given the manager of the month award for February.
The results for the month were:
02.02 - Cheadle Town (away) won 0-2 (Division Two Trophy Quarter Final)
16.02 - Oldham Town (away) won 0-3 (Vodkat League Cup Quarter Final)
18.02 - Ashton Athletic (home) won 2-0 (Division Two)
23.02 - Bootle (home) won 1-0 (Division Two Trophy Semi Final 1st Leg)
